Toronto, ON – The Métis Nation of Alberta (MNA) has successfully implemented a customized case management system developed by NewOrg Canada, enhancing its ability to deliver and manage critical services across health, children and family services, justice, and more. This digital transformation aligns with the MNA’s mission to support Métis individuals and communities
with culturally relevant, efficient, and secure service delivery.
The newly released whitepaper, Empowering a Nation: The MNA’s Implementation of NewOrg Canada’s Case Management System, outlines the collaborative process between the MNA and NewOrg. It highlights how the new platform supports MNA's data governance framework, improves internal workflows, and strengthens outcomes through accurate reporting and streamlined documentation.
Previously, MNA relied on what Programs Manager Nathaniel Le Chalifoux described as “a ramshackle approach… just a bunch of different applications trying to make a program function.” With NewOrg in place, he noted, “Our staff have been able to take guilt-free vacations without worrying they've left some clients dangling in the wind.”
