RAICES Partners with NewOrg to Enhance Services for Immigrants

Leading immigrant rights and refugee resettlement agency partnered with  NewOrg to launch a customized case management system that streamlines direct client services and improves compliance and support.

Washington, D.C. - Founded in 1986 in San Antonio, RAICES (Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services) began as a small grassroots effort to support  Central American refugees. It has since grown into one of the largest immigration legal services providers in Texas,  and today it has a national reach. Rooted in the values of justice, compassion, and community,  RAICES provides free and low-cost legal and social services and holistic case management to people and families navigating the complex U.S. immigration system. RAICES plays a leading role in advocacy, impact litigation, and narrative change, working to shift culture and policy toward a more equitable and welcoming society, and believes no one should face detention, deportation, or asylum proceedings without due process and access to support systems. • Multi-Department Financial Assistance Workflow: Role-based permissions and NetSuite integration streamline financial assistance, check processing, and oversight.
• Intakes, Assessments, and Digital Consent Forms: Custom digital forms allow for fast,  consistent data entry and secure client consent tracking across all programs.
• Secure File Uploads for Documentation: Staff can upload and manage key documents with role-based access controls to ensure privacy and security.
• Volunteer Management and Pay Tracking: Volunteer services and pay rates are tracked and linked to client activities for accurate reporting and reimbursement.
• Communications and Attendance Tracking: WhatsApp integration and attendance tools maintain a full record of client interactions and participation.
• Internal and External Referrals: Staff can make and track referrals across programs and partner agencies with status updates and documentation.
• Compliance Checklists and Audit Support: Built-in checklists guide staff through program requirements to support compliance and audit readiness.
